There are several different threads we can look at to discuss why Trump won. We can look at them all. Maybe Russian interference isn't the thickest thread and perhaps media has focused on it more than it deserves. But all the issues Taibbi writes about were discussed in the MSM too. They didn't ignore it. If all we're going to look at is the thickest thread we wouldn't be discussing Taibbi's article. imo All we'd discuss is the decades long successful demonization of Hillary. I believe people voting against Hillary was a bigger reason she lost than people voting for Trump.

Less a screed this time, more a very good piece. And I don't usually like Taibbi. It's thoughtful, him looking back and synthesizing and then boiling it down.
