there really is big anti-Trump culture change along these lines going on (whether it holds is another question).

I've noted lots of examples with a snowballing effect in two threads

• big corporate (and even the PGA) disowning anyone supporting, tons of em!
• big social media "de-platforming" extremists in mass quantities

I haven't seen any evidence of this trend abating, it's growing apace. The amazing thing is that there seem to be few grifter contrarian types looking to prosper off marketing to the damned, basically right now they have no where to go in "respectful" society (Not all good, does set them up further to present themselves as persecuted victims of the elites and "the man".)

Interestingly Murdoch/Fox was actually an early adopter as far as cracking down on the election conspiracizing I had a thread on that too, with some related media business reactions, but there's chaos on that right now after Jan. 6, they're all confused on coming up with alternate lies to splain: what happened.

“We need to help induce national calm NOW,” Brian Philips, the executive vice president of content for Cumulus, wrote in an internal memo to employees Wednesday, which was first reported by Inside Music Media and the Washington Post, as the pro-Trump rioters stormed the Capitol. 

The company “will not tolerate any suggestion that the election has not ended,” Philips went on, adding, “The election has been resolved and there are no alternate acceptable ‘paths.’”

In the memo, Philips writes that if an employee breaks this policy, “you can expect to separate from the company immediately.”

Cumulus Media, which owns more than 400 radio stations across the country, including WMAL in Washington and KABC in Los Angeles, is home to prominent conservative hosts such as Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro and Dan Bongino. 

In a statement to Forbes on Monday, Shapiro said he never received the memo from Cumulus and was not one of their employees, adding he had “never failed to accept the result of the election.”

Levin, Bongino and Cumulus did not respond to Forbes’ request for comment Monday. [....]
