I still stand by my opinion that "Black Lives Matter" was a huge failure of massive consequences of many kinds for this nation, not the least of which, "black lives." We are very lucky that Biden knew the right approach to take in response or we might still be living under President Trump.

Orion, it is definitely wisdom of age in his case. I have watched him since moving to NYC in 83. And it's the best kind of wisdom with age, the kind learned from mistakes. He used to be a blatant classic rabble rouser for self-aggrandizement. The last decade or so, I have been mightily impressed, he has all the gravitas and confidence of a wise elder statesman. It's a pity that a lot of the right don't know that and still apply the stereotype of the old Al. He'd be able to work well with anyone basically! He gets it, all of it.
