NYPD confiscated this "jerry-rigged" ghost gun from a traffic stop the other day:
But "traffic enforcement" is racist and therefore should be done by robots?

p.s. the 67th precinct is in the center of Brooklyn, comprising East Flatbush and Remsen; the Commanding Officer is Deputy Inspector Gaby Celiba:

Whenever I have been working/etc.in poor areas in the US, it's actually easier to deal with people and get business done. A lot of places like Richmond, CA are full of nice people who will buy you lunch. But it feels necessary to have something on you - a taser, an unloaded pellet gun, a pepperball gun, etc. Something that will just send the message to back off. It is what is is.
This argument will go a whole lot farther than other ones.

Turns out someone's doing something that works in Dallas; the police are taking the credit for that.
