An Affair to Disemember

    Suffice it to say that I am tired of news reports about Tiger and his alleged mistresses. Way too much coverage of women crawling out of the Woods-work for fifteen minutes of infamy, a book deal and a handsome interview fee.

    If the bimbos erupting in the press cared one whit for Tiger or his family, they would never have conspired (allegedly) to test his nine iron. So right from the start, their motives are highly questionable.

    The fact that Woods pseudo-admitted to infidelity doesn't mean every one of these women has a true story to tell. And even if they are telling the whole truth and nothing but, the story just doesn't merit such coverage, It's not like Woods was Michael Jackson or something.

    No, the fact is, I don't think the story is important at all. Maybe it's because I don't watch golf.
