Are the human rights issues raised over Baluchistan real or just another ruse and excuse for the U.S. to invade a former ally and install a puppet government?
BALOCHISTAN: NEXT STOP IN CORPORATE FASCIST AMERIKA'S WAR-FOR-PROFIT TOUR?
Having failed to strike a deal on NATO supply routes through Pakistan largely due to the killing of thousands of innocent civilians by Bushbamney-approved American military/CIA drone strikes, in violation of international law the United States has within the last week moved its nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise into Pakistani territorial waters within 70 nautical miles of the city of Gawadar in Balochistan.

Modern maps show Balochistan (or Baluchistan) as a province of Pakistan. But historically, ethnically and tribally the "Land of the Baloch" is a mountainous region in the Iranian plateau of Southwest Asia that includes portions of the sovereign territories of not only Pakistan but also Afghanistan and Iran.

Consequently, increasing American covert "intelligence" operations and overt military presence in this region is the geopolitical equivalent of playing with fire in a match factory. And that may be exactly what the Wall Street-controlled Washington War Machine intends to do...
There is already an ongoing conflict between Baloch "separatists" and the Pakistani government, with both sides accusing the other of human rights violations or other crimes and injustices. So-called "militants" from the Persian portion of the region have also clashed with the Iranian government. And Baloch "insurgent groups" are reportedly operating in southern Afghanistan as well. According to Wikipedia:
"Pakistan has repeatedly accused India, and occasionally the U.S., of supporting the Baluch rebels in order to destabilise the country. Both countries have denied the charge. Iran has accused America of supporting Jundallah for years. America has denied the charge."

But now, according one source "...the United States is coming out of the closet in favor of the dissection of Pakistan. Nothing could be more clear - all of the 'conspiracy theories' about US/India meddling in Balochistan are true. Pakistan is on a countdown to invasion."

Another source suggests the U.S. strategy may be to help Balochistan gain its "independence" then install a puppet government to give America's war profiteers the routes and resources they seek in the region: "Most [exiled] Baloch leaders, including Geneva-based Sardar Brahumdagh Bugti of the Baloch Republican Party, are miffed why the U.S. is talking to Pakistan on these routes instead of the Baloch."

Next steps for Balochistan (Baluchistan) will be important topics on the agenda of this two-day seminar in Crystal City VA sponsored by the Pentagon's Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and scheduled for this week:
Pakistan Symposium: 2014 and Beyond Draft Agenda
- "What will be the the role of economic and social development in the FATA/Baluchistan?"
- "What will be the effect of regional dynamics on the FATA and Baluchistan?"
- "What will be the impact of demographics and population movements within the FATA, Baluchistan, and the areas immediately surrounding these two regions?"

Our research shows the panel members for this symposium include Baloch separatists, activists and sympathizers - but no one representing the government of Pakistan. How do you think the government of America would react if the government of Russia staged a seminar where they laid out plans for the future of an "independent" Iowa? Here's James Corbett's take on the big picture for Balochistan (Baluchistan):
"Exactly as in Sudan, Libya, Uganda and other flavours-of-the-week in the great game that has defined global geopolitics for decades, however, this newfound attention on Baluchistan has very little to do with grievances about the plight of the long-suffering locals and much more to do with the region's vast, untapped mineral and resource wealth, its geostrategic location on a proposed pipeline route that threatens to undermine Western influence in the region, and its role as a base of operations for terror groups that Mossad and the CIA have been using to wage a proxy terror campaign on Iran."

[....] Speaking in a hearing mainly about telephone data collection, the bureau's director, Robert Mueller, said it used drones to aid its investigations in a "very, very minimal way, very seldom".
However, the potential for growing drone use either in the US, or involving US citizens abroad, is an increasingly charged issue in Congress, and the FBI acknowleged there may need to be legal restrictions placed on their use to protect privacy.
"It is still in nascent stages but it is worthy of debate and legislation down the road," said Mueller, in response to questions from Hawaii senator Mazie Hirono.
Hirono said: "I think this is a...

CAIRO - Egypt's tourism minister tendered his resignation on Tuesday over President Mohamed Mursi's decision to appoint as governor of Luxor a member of a hardline Islamist group blamed for slaughtering 58 tourists there in 1997.
Prime Minister Hisham Kandil did not accept the resignation of Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou, who remains in the post for now. However, the move pointed to a split in government over an appointment that one critic called "the last nail in the coffin" of the tourism industry.
Mursi appointed Adel Mohamed al-Khayat, a member of al-Gamaa al-Islamiya, as Luxor governor this week, a move seen as a sign of a deepening political alliance between the once-armed group and the...
