    The three-day hate.

    The RNC convention is turning out to be an incitement to riot. Not the protesters outside. The hate mongers inside.

    One after another, the speakers are appealing to the worst in their party faithful. Hatred of the left. The media. Obama. Anyone in Washington. Anyone "elite." The truth.

    And its working. I just got an email from a 76-year-old woman friend. It's a fabricated misrepresentation of the McCain and Obama positions in table form.

    I spoke with her over the phone and tried to direct her to the true positions of the candidates through a couple web sites. But she said nothing would change her mind and she wouldn't visit the web sites. She had prayed on it and would vote for McCain no matter what.

    Ah, well. McCain is consolidating his base. And what a lynch mob it is, my friend included.

    God help us if McCain is elected. I know that if there is a God, he would not condone the continuous lies of the GOP. Or the incredible hatred of truth and all things other than Republicanism.
