Sanders interview: ..asserted twice that Israel killed over 10,000 innocent civilians in the course of that conflict...seven times the self-serving figure asserted by Hamas, the terror group that runs Gaza..Sanders demanded Israel remove its blockade from Gaza while simultaneously professing to support Israelis’ “right to live in peace and security.” ...Demanding that Israel end the Gaza blockade is tantamount to demanding that Hamas be enabled to freely bring in rockets, missiles and all manner of other military equipment to expedite Israel’s demise.

I assume this post which documents the contempt David Horovitz has for Bernie Sanders is meant as a paradoxical show of support for the Democratic Socialist. After all, Horovitz is an Israeli hardliner who has criticized President Obama's Iran deal as a "Western catastrophe" and apparently likes Donald Trump best of the American Presidential candidates as shown here and here.

Bernie was '7 times worse than HAMAS' on the casualty figures. And the Bernie campaign didn't respond to Israel media requests for correction of the figures.
Publicly and vastly inflating deaths of innocents does not lead to an atmosphere where both sides can reduce mutual hostility and give a chance for peace.
It indicates a 'lazy' lack of knowledge, and a 'not serious' attitude on taking up the responsibility of an American President. It shows Sanders foreign policy to be a 'superficial' brand of mumbo jumbo, curiously like his domestic plans.
And in a region replete with terrorism, hate, violence and a record of decades of diplomatic failure.
And true no matter what extraneous stuff one can dig up about the writer, who represents the feelings of many in Israel who must be sold on a Sanders plan for a 2 state solution.

Sanders never stated definitely the number of Gazans the IDF killed in 2014. He acknowledged he didn't have the number at his disposal. He estimated 10,000 civilians which was about 7X more than the Guardian reports. He was probably thinking of the number of casualties which was in excess of 13,000. Sanders accepted the correction offered by the Daily News interviewer. I'm not sure why this is a story but if you want to claim this proves Sanders is a bad guy and should be bypassed in favor of the woman who supports the IDF at all costs under all circumstances, you are more than welcome to do so.

You are welcome to support a long time DC septuagenarian lazy with facts, superficial with details on domestic and foreign policy issues, and who has proposals no serious person believes possible without control of Congress, for which he has no plans to coordinate or provide financial support.
