Gonna be tough. Here's one of the terrorists: play-revolutionary Elizabeth from Knoxville TN; very upset that she got maced when she tried to push inside the door, just wasn't fair
She DEFINITELY would find some kindred spirits in the Portland crew!
by artappraiser on Fri, 01/08/2021 - 8:37pm
She says she's a revolutionary. Others call her a terrorist or coup plotter. Which is most accurate, what say ye?
Edit to add: my druthers: arrested with jail time and fines for participating in an illegal assembly and assisting vandalism,, JUST LIKE is done to Portland protesters but not done to them enough, prosecution is dropped way too often, they use arrest as merely a policing tool. Throw in from "the book" whatever else you can find that will stick. Perhaps assisting terrorism? Of course sedition won't stick, so you're just wasting government money on trying. What has to be done is scare the shit out of her and make her spend a lot on a lawyer who will splain to her that this isn't a teevee show and she better learn about civil behavior.

As always, that depends on who wins. In this case she's a joke. But also a criminal. Throw the book at her as should have been done to the BLM looters and rioters

Protecting Federal buildings is fundamental.
There's a lot of nuts out there that don't belong to any clubs at all. Gabby Giffords got shot by one trying to meet and greet with her public.
And when the fuck has it become permissible to demonstrate outside politicians private homes?. BLM that's when. Huge unruly crowds outside the Mayor's house that have a lot of seething emotion about local police, one match away from a mob. Just so cool, let's support that, yay.
We can't afford secret service protection for every elected politician in this country.
It's like Keisha-Lance Bottoms said: go home, learn to protest correctly.
edit to add: more precisely she also said GO HOME. AND VOTE. (and she meant the local election, not just the Nov. one.

Holy smokes I can't wait to see what the FBI does with this one!!! highly decorated combat vet &@AF_Academy graduate Lt. Colonel. Ret. Larry Brock of Texas. PP posted above what Ronan Farrow but now his name and record is public:
I haven't had a minute to look at what extremist expert JJ McNabb has tweeted since before the Capitol breach, but I will be surprised if she hasn't seen evidence of him on social media with Boogaloo Bois.

One of the Boogaloo Boys targeted a federal officer in Oakland last year, as if baiting for this confrontation.

There was a story I read out of Seattle where a black guy who was shot at said he was attacked by people who posted as BLM supporters but shouted "the n-word" before firing at him. A whole bunch of people were killed inside of CHAZ, just as a whole bunch of people were killed at least due in part to this raid of the nation's capital - both are true at once.
If we see terrorism as an issue, then there's certainly something going on. People aren't fighting a civil war in blue and red uniforms in a field - they're doing it on the streets with MAGA flags or as a black bloc.

the Boogaloos are a loose group have no ideology in common except hating police, they span the spectrum from left to right. Some do affiliate with BLM radicals, and laud them, others are white suprematists! They are already considered extremists of the terrorist variety by the FBI and are closely followed by them but are also a great danger to them precisely because they especially hate Federal "police". Angry alienated ex-military (i.e.Tim Mc Veigh type persons) are common affiliates.
This is the main article that got me interested in the topic.
Inside the Boogaloo. It started as an internet meme. Then waves of political unrest gave adherents of the Boogaloo a chance to test their theories about the collapse of American society.
New York Times Magazine, August 19, 2020
At least a quarter of that long article is about the killing by a rightie Boogaloo and ex-military Steven Carrillo of federal security officer David Underwood, at the BLM protests in Oakland, CA in late May. How as soon as he saw news of the protests starting he jumped in his van and drove 75 miles to sort of join in and perhaps kill himself some cops, And about how the FBI tracked him and how he ran from them.
Since I read that I started keeping track on two blogs, Parts I & II here:
LEARNING ABOUT EXTREMISTS: NEWS & ANALYSIS, PART II
By artappraiser on Wed, 11/11/2020 - 3:24pm |
My first thread on topic is here and in the 75 comments posted from Sept. 3 to Nov. 9, 2020, has plenty of content that is still quite useful
[LEARNING ABOUT EXTREMISTS PART I ] DOH! EXCUSE ME, MR. NANCE
I'll start the new thread in comments.
In that process I did find a lot more evidence that there are far left Boogaloos in support of BLM as well as far right ones. All basically joined by anarchist beliefs. After all, white mililtias, black militias, what should be the diff in the end? They all want to be in little tribal units taking care of security for themselves and not be subject to any big gummint. If politically active they like to agitate within protests of all kinds as long as anarchic breakdown of big gummint might be the result. It's like "bring it on motherfuckers" the more you crack down, the more we win.

re-skimming that article on Bogaloos now, it's clear as bell why the FBI has a $50,000 reward for info. on the guy setting the pipe bombs at RNC & DNC offices:
THAT'S A BOOGALOO message and improvised explosives are a tactic they discuss! It's right there in at the end of the NYTimes article, Carrillo wrote it in blood!

Already charged & in custody: the guy with the molotov cocktails and guns in his car. D.C. DOJ gives credit to Capitol Police in the press release
Note: 70 years old!

just thought now to compare with the lawyers who threw a molotov cocktail into an empty police car in Brooklyn during BLM protests in late May. This July 1 NPR Story said they were charged with 7 felonies but out on bail. The latest story I could find without digging too much was this Sept. 14 Buzz Feed which gets into how some in the prosecutor biz think they were being charged unfairly singled out to set an example under orders by Barr to be tough.

Biden might have had classified knowledge of this kind of thing going on. Changes a lot, use of the word "terrorism" is a lot more appropriate.
