Seriously, could she have chosen a worse look for herself or a better way to knee-cap the Democratic Party in the run-up to the mid-terms?

good lord, Hal, you don't honestly believe that the Democratic party can get a single vote from the minority of the population who at this point in time are still offended by jokes about Trump? That's just delusional. It's infinitely wiser to go after those voters on the right who are embarrassed by him.

At the Grammys, Hillary mocked Trump for eating at McDonald's - allegedly because he thinks it's tougher for his enemies to poison "food" prepared there. This is the most counterproductive message Clinton could deliver. She told Republican working class voters that Democratic elites look down on their restaurant choices and denigrate their candidates for being low-brow ignoramuses. If Clinton had delivered a rousing defense of the dreamers and described a heart-wrenching deportation, I would have been supportive.

oh please it's no different from the Trump jokes every night on the late night broadcast mass market shows that strive to be apolitical. Even those that eat there regularly know McDonald's is not health food, that it's a metaphor for high calorie junk food. And no one believes that the Secret Service can't protect the president's food as well as McDonald's can. This is not elitist humor, it's bland everyman humor!

I blame you for this: just got back from the main Bronx post office on 161st & Grand Concourse. There's a drive thru Mickey D across the street, you put it in my brain, I couldn't resist. Got #1 meal, finished the fries and Big Mac while driving. Still have 2/3 of the soda left.Tasty but far from cheap around these parts: $9.49. Pretty small burger, pretty large soda; should be the other way around. I will feel the effects tomorrow, not from the calories but from the bun: yeast doesn't agree with me.

Hal, while you focus on a comedy skit, you may have missed the Republicans are conducting a full assault on the FBI.
