What the IG report found
Inspector General Michael Horowitz found that the FBI wasn’t motivated by bias in the Russia investigation. But the report called out missteps in the probe.

Trump is not only still saying that, he's saying the report proves he's right.
And ABC Evening News put on Trump triumphantly saying that as a main part of their broadcast.

Dan Rather:
by artappraiser on Tue, 12/10/2019 - 3:35pm
Is this the same Dan Rather who destroyed his career by reporting Fake News back when we had an at least somewhat honest media?
by Anonymous (not verified) on Tue, 12/10/2019 - 7:44pm
It wasn't fake news. It was a true story with one piece of bad evidence. Republicans focused on the one error to discredit the whole story. It's a fairly common practice, to look for one flaw to discredit all the other evidence and the story.

OK, you don't need to be an apologist for Dirty Dan, we live in the post truth era where using phony documents is SOP for the activist media. In fact they don't even need phony documents anymore, they just make up whatever they need for the narrative of the day and attribute it to unidentified sources.
Dan was ahead of his time and he wouldn't be relegated to sitting in his basement tweeting out insulting lies about honest people but leading the Fake News Movement if he was judged by the standards of today.

You're a moron if you believe that or a liar if you're spinning it for partisan purposes. I'm never sure which it is with you but I won't debate it.
by ocean-kat on Tue, 12/10/2019 - 11:18pm
Fuck you, liar. Dan Rather was taken down by a deliberately doctored document (Karl Dirty Tricks Rove?) to play gotcha with the fonts. Bush didn't finish his Guard duty (I still think he had balls as a pilot, not a job for the scared) but the fake doc let them turn it away from Bush.
Get back to pseudo-reasonable posts or I delete every goddamn one of yours like I do the rest of the unwanted spam on this site. (Took off one of yours already yesterday - and no, I don't have to give you notice - write shit and I just mop it away). This is not your personal disinfo site.

PP, too bad not even Rather supports your Fake News conspiracy theory about Rove or Stone being the source of the Killian documents, he still believes they were authentic. It looks like you f***ed yourself on this one.
He is like you a creepy Fake News apologist who believes it doesn't matter so long as FN furthers the Party narrative.
Stone responded to this baseless fact free accusation by saying he enjoyed a good bank-shot but this one would have been far too risky and could have gone either way.

He's not supporting a font that came later - he's affirming his reporting. Get stuffed.

Page may face some very expensive legal costs when she has to answer for her doctoring of the 302 report on the Mike Flynn interview. I don't know if Flynn can sue her for that editing but he might.
This suit won't cost her anything but seems like a vain attempt to get a settlement and avoid the bankruptcy she helped inflict on Flynn.

why the heck do you come to this site to spin like that-- is beyond me! Nobody here is going to fall for the crap you are spewing, don't you get that? It's a waste of time unless you are cross-linking to your comments at a site that is full of self deluded victimologists like you. Is it like a mantra, spinning yourself silly, the more you repeat, the more you believe? Thinking of Michael Flynn as a victim of anything is beyond ridiculous, he's like a poster boy of opportunism after retiring from military, it's easy to imagine him rubbing his hands in glee "ah now's the time to cash in with the lobbying and stuff after all that sufferin."

I must have hit a soft spot on the Belly of the Beast to trigger one of its' petty propagandists to come to the defense of a slime-ball police state lawyer. This is why I come here to help you express your true ugly rotten empty core.
Mike Flynn dedicated 30 years of his life to defending our country and he had the spine to stand up and oppose a weakling President's appeasement and bribery of an ugly terrorist state. He was targeted, smeared and removed back then by the minions of that weakling President that remained in government and framed him this time with the help of the sleaze you defend.
Flynn may or may not have sinned in his private business venture but no one deserves to be framed by a criminal police state not even a petty propagandist who parrots their Party line.
