Caroline Glick has been rightly described as "a world-class pessimist". I think she may be an avatar of the Angel of Death: her recommendations would nearly always lead to war. Nevertheless, she is coherent, interesting, and (sometimes) provides sources.
"Watching the undoing, in a week, of victories that US forces won in Iraq at great cost over many years, Americans are asking themselves what, if anything, should be done." (....)
"The Obama administration, along with Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham, views Iran’s deployment of forces in Iraq as an opportunity for the US. The US, they argue should work with Iran to defeat ISIS." (....)
"There are two basic, fundamental problems with this idea...."
Comments
Glick has weak reading comprehension skills. The Nine Eleven Commission Report notes different connections between Iran and Al Qaida but says this too:
I have to go to work now. If I have time later, I will debunk some of the other misinformation in the piece. What a steaming pile of something steaming.
One can well imagine terrorist groups with the same enemies might trade resources with each other but they haven't made hallucinogens with enough power to get me to imagine Iran secretly creating a Caliphate in Iraq.

Okay, I am back from work and the the next most important thing to debunk in this opinion given by Ms. Glick is this:
There are miles of text where these distinctions are made excruciatingly clear in all the official documents. To say that making all who express "Islamist" points of view are all a part of the same agenda is very incorrect.
It takes very little research to find this out for oneself.
