Since mostly we hear from the daily hypocrisies of Mitt and friends, I thought we should examine "our guy" on a few issues with a bit more scrutiny than we hear from the "progressive left", which seems to be little or none at all."

On one aspect of this, spying on Americans, Dana Priest and Tom Arkin's Top Secret America: The Rise of the New American Security State, is said to be a well-sourced eye-opener which does not give short shrift to the responsibility of the US government to try to prevent terrorist attacks in our day, nor does it seek to place sole responsibility for the developments it chronicles exclusively on one party or President. Priest is a WashPost reporter. Just fyi if you or others are interested. Thanks for the link.
