Mr. Rosenstein said he had been threatened, though he did not name the Republicans.
“There have been people who have been making threats, privately and publicly, against me for quite some time,” he said. “And I think they should understand by now, the Department of Justice is not going to be extorted.”

WaPo version: Rosenstein on GOP lawmakers impeachment threat: ‘The Department of Justice is not going to be extorted’
Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein also said he would have no comment on the drafted articles of impeachment “that nobody has the courage to put their name on.”
Note they also have broken more news on the Mueller thing, I posted it on that thread, copying here:

OK, this is in response to Rosenstein’s WTF attitude in his interview. When he laughed he really looked like Alfalfa (minus the straight up lock) from Little Rascals. I know, I am showing my age yet again. But just thinking about all the things that you youngsters missed out on gives me a big sad.
look it up. Maybe you can even find Alfalfa signing the Joyce Kilmer poem. “Only God Can Make A Tree.”

Always loved me some Little Rascals when I'd catch one here or there when they ran one to fill out a segment on TV, especially Spanky. But I never really appreciated Alfalfa that much, maybe my least favorite, until Eddie Murphy did a new version as "Buckwheat". Eddie made me see Alfalfa anew.
