Wouldn't surprise me. WaPo came up with a more nuanced and detailed story on this and after trying to read between the lines, I got the impression that everyone that works with him is damn sick and tired of having to make excuses for all the crap he spouts off the top of his head or with Twitter trigger finger
Can you imagine all the b.s. crap coming out of his mouth that she's had to listen to at parties and stuff before he got into the presidential race? This is what that automatic smile was about during the inauguration? Accepting the role of obedient, pre-nupped wifey, every time he says something stupid, she can't make excuses or defend, just smiles. Easier job than having to spin it. I am thinking now how Huckabee Sanders already is rolling her eyes and has a scowl on her face before she even starts a press briefing.....
