Tesla smashes Q3 production target.

Coming this afternoon: MSM to obsess on some supposed Elon Musk quirk.
Yesterday Canadian mag wrote Elon "dabbled in rocket science" - this being the first successful private space launch company putting multiple runs of satellites into space at a fraction of what it costs government to do it.
When you hear about "out of control" Elon reined in by the SEC, think about Wolf of Wall Street or Enron or Thenaros or Michael Milken or Bernie Maddox or Goldman Sachs keeping a 2nd set of books for Greece or Apple/Google/Microsoft hiding a trillion ollars in profits overseas or even John deLorean busted for coke or John McAfee's freaky escape from some Central American country or Larry Ellison buying hos own island. Elon's big sins were a) telling a short-seller who didn't read the earnings report he was boring, b) insulting a Brit who'd insulted him, c) talking about going private after a talk with a superrich private investor, d) making exotic far reaching technical claims that he just hit.

Do you hold stock? I don't get your blind approval of Musk.

Blind approval? He's
a) firing private rockets into space to launch satellites,
b) replacing internal combustion cars with electric & building the recharging/batter infrastructure to support them
c) designing auto-drive capabilities that'll prevent thousands of traffic deaths a year, plus
d) designing new metro area/inter-metro transportation to be less space demanding & much more responsive to commute patterns.
My eyes couldn't be more open. Compare the benefits of all that to whether he calls someone who insulted him a pedo or tells a cutthroat short-seller to piss off.

I rest my case.

I could hang out for tailgate parties watching football games,
or spend a couple hundred bucks on a concert,
or sit here looking up Brett Kavanaugh's butthole for 2-3 weeks now
or trade images of cats on Facebook
and everyone thinks that's normal.
But pay attention to technology that's changing the world, and ooh, something must be wrong.
Better to complain about global warming than do something about it.
