And the NYTs reorts that on the eve of Rouhani's visit to the US to address the UN General Assembly, 11 political prisoners have been released.
So this a charm offensive. What it means? Better than no charm I guess Interesting and hopeful in any event.

I remember reading some silly media scuttlebutt about Miz Curry's many humiliations at the Today show for not being charismatic enough or something. So it's "revenge of the nerds" or something like that.
