Treasury secretary's wife lashes out at Instagram user who called her 'deplorable'
By Meghan Keneally @ ABCNews.com, Aug. 22
[....] One user wrote in response to her photo, "Glad we could pay for your little getaway. #deplorable."
The comment apparently didn't sit well with Linton, who wrote back that she and her husband are making sacrifices for his government job.
"Aw!! Did you think this was a personal trip?! Adorable! Did you think the US govt paid for our honeymoon or personal travel?! Lololol. Have you given more to the economy than me and my husband? Either as an individual earner in taxes OR in self sacrifice to your country?" she shot back.
Linton continued, "I'm pretty sure we paid more taxes toward our day 'trip' than you did. Pretty sure the amount we sacrifice per year is a lot more than you'd be willing to sacrifice if the choice was yours."
Linton called the user "adorably out of touch."
"Thanks for the passive aggressive nasty comment. Your kids look very cute. Your life looks cute," Linton wrote [....]

I posted this because I think the main takeaway should be: there is no way to know whether the troll is Democrat-leaning or Republican-leaning. Could be an anti-semite Bannonite or a Sandersnista or an Occupy Wall Street anarchist or an FDR Democrat or a classic socialist or just a traditional Republican appalled at excess...etc.
A secondary point of interest is her statement about "self-sacrifice" which suggests Mnunchin is staying on with Trump because he thinks he has a duty, not for ambition or money.

Clearly somebody from hubby's office or even hubby himself told her this was a no-no, basically something like live like Marie Antoinette, no free speech for you, unless you want to die like Marie Antoinette.
One thing's for sure: she's far more ready to accept political correctness societal rules than our twitterer-in-chief.
