The out-to-lunch Libertarian presidential candidate said Sunday he was glad “nobody got hurt” in a New York City bombing and Minnesota stabbing that left dozens of people injured. Sleepy brained Gary Johnson could be even dumber than Trump. Not an easy feat. Note the CNN host does not correct Johnson or inform him that people were wounded in both Minnesota and NYC.

Poor "Marijuana doesn't make you stupid" Johnson, he's not much of an advertisement for sustained marijuana use. If this is an example of what he's like when he "stopped using marijuana to be knife sharp" one can only wonder what he's like stoned.

To quote Richard: 'Hahahahahahahahaha'. That's a laugh.
Libertarianized from even short term 24 hour reality. Or maybe that's long term for him....and Trump.
The CNN guy may have been on the same stuff, or be following the MSM Prime Directive to never correct blatant falsehoods.

It must drive folks crazy to try to please voters in a funk year. Here's the guy who's leading the anything-but-the-two-party-establishment disaffected vote (garnering 8% of the polls at this point):
Yes, the engineering guy who just pulled off Evil Knievel's Snake River Jump is less suicidal than the leading independent candidate for President. And unlike the Democratic nominee, he doesn't have to pretend to like the questionable free college for all idea - the list of petulant demands has a narrow focus - and if you're not in that rifle scope, planning to abolish the Department of Education does you no harm, along with the huge energy to abolish rich people's student loan debts - yay millennials! Yay disaffecteds!
And remember we were talking about which candidate had the best union support (hint: it wasn't Hillary, despite her endorsement by the leadership of almost every major unions - yep, the unhappy union supporters pivoted to the anti-union candidate. *THAT* will teach them a lesson. Whoever them is).
Is Hillary less trustworthy than the people she's trying to serve? Obviously not.

Yeah, it's funny that the most insincere people get loads of credit, and any signs of true altruism or concern are torched. The amount of industrial attack methods generated over the last 15 years or so feels like walking into machine gun fire at the Marne. Public service literally = life in the trenches?
I thought year 2000 was bad enough, but the echo chamber of the internet makes it infinitely worse - there's 0 discussion of any real policy proposal beyond the glibbest terms, and we have this interminable equivalence between dissimilars - with the primaries, it was a first tier global candidate with multiple positions & policies & difficult decisions in positions of relative power over the years vs. a fringe candidate with an outsider's freedom; now it's a candidate with a variety of fraud payouts, bankruptcies, employee abuse, shady dealings, lies and outrageous statements vs. a diplomatic candidate who has a number of admirable achievements continuously assaulted with a myriad of steadily cascading but never verified what-ifs like playing whack-a-mole on an industrial scale. But to make the horserace more profitable (and for personal scorn), the media keeps its thumbs forever on the scales.

Only the money has grown enormously in size, Daniel Defoe, 1720's:
We had no such thing as printed newspapers in those days to spread rumours and reports of things, and to improve them by the invention of men, as I have lived to see practised since.

Ayup, here's Trump buying influence and Scott Walker working the big donors. New ballgame - get that Defoe fella on the phone...

Trump really is concerned about your taxes and the deficit, that's why he makes sure his taxes are zero with every scam or tax dodge he can copy or invent.
