I have problems with this verdict.
But damn.
I mean we have a system; a system of justice and pundits can reel and become angry.
Take a gun into a fist fight?
I was not there, I did not participate in the proceedings.
It's over!
the end

The NAACP has a petition up requesting the Dept of Justice look into this and open a Civil rights case. I have already signed it and added a personal note to the petition. I am sorry but this verdict is straight out of Jim Crow. http://www.naacp.org/page/s/doj-civil-rights-petition?source=GZnotguiltyshareTAF&utm_medium=email&utm_source=taf&utm_campaign=GZnotguiltyshareTAF

In the United States, Trayvon Martin's parents have the right to file a wrongful death suit. An armed thug may escape a criminal prosecution but still face civil court justice. Younger voters are going to place themselves in Trayvon's shoes and go looking for legislator's who question the current self- defense and stand your ground laws. People won't get over it, they will get even.
