I see nothing here to disprove other stories about how split the party is, on the contrary, there is more explanatory evidence of how Trump populist activists just infiltrated the ranks, lpartly with the help of his minions, while he had the power of the presidency
the question now really is will the establishment fight back to get some control or become Independents and let it fully become the Trump Yahoo Party.
Part of that really does hinge on what happens with the dear leader after office, whether he can maintain "ratings" in some kind of media while fighting all kinds of state court cases (or while overseas?) with the international media titans cracking down on his shenanigans and those like him as we speak After all, there's a pandemic going on, countries have to keep shutting down, this is serious now.

Another point: If it does become the Trump Yahoo Party where's it going to get its money? Not from any of these guys. Not from the Koch Brothers. Not from the greatly reduced Bannon connections with wealth. Not from Wall Street friends of Scaramucci....etc.
Friends of Putin? $5 donations from the Qanon club?

Politico's headline, meanwhile, makes an excellent point: Trump’s existential threat: How to keep GOP in line without Twitter The president has used Twitter to punish perceived disloyalty within his party. Now he's lost his favorite tool at a defining moment.
