According to MSNBC which I am watching right now, Romney wins by about 8 votes
30,015 vs. 30,007
Both Romney and Santorum will get 11 delegates to the repub convention--on paper i guess.

According to Bachmann, GOD HAS SPOKEN!

Here might be a better summary:

I sincerely doubt it ... that's about a summary as it gets ... but I'll take a look anyhow.

No, Mitt won! no kidding! By 8 votes!
No recount, no redo, no Supreme Court decision!
11 delegates go to mitt and rick.
Paul gets 3.
That's it!

They're currently reporting 13 to Mitt and 12 to Rick.

But all those delegates are unbound. The official allocation of delegates for the convention won't occur until the state convention in June. In 2008, McCain who only got 17% of the popular vote in Iowa was allocated all the delegates at the convention.

Absolutely. I'm guessing the 13-12 will be used as part of the horse race, however, and the appearance of leading is very important in such races (well, for political ones—I'm not sure how much it matters for the equine ones).

That's true. But if the race turns out to be Newt vs Mitt, then Newt could end up picking up Santorum's. If Santorum is still in it to win it, then these will be very important towards the end of the horse race.
Appearances are indeed important and that's why SC is critical for Newt. A win there and he'll pass both Santorum and Mitt in total delegates (even with Mitt's gain from NH). It makes it a legitimate three way race in Florida.

For what it's worth, although IowaCaucus.com is also reporting the 8-vote victory, they have "1766 of 1774 precincts reporting". ¿Que?
