This link is the first of two parts in which Corey Robim discusses the book, "Between the World and Me" by Ta-Nehisi Coates. The second is here:

The two essays by Corey Robin, linked above, give me some information, ideas, impressions, and some things to think about. They touch on issues of particular currency in our country and the world as a whole. They do not lead me to any conclusions but reinforce the idea that the more I know the more aware I am of my own ignorance or at least my own ego-centric predicament, so to speak. [We all live within one, at least if I understand the term correctly] Anyway, I think they are relevant to much of the recent conversation here at Dag and expect that some others might think so too. If nothing more, they are at least quite ‘interesting’. I will probably follow up by reading the book by Coates which is the source for Robin’s attention.

You will gain a lot of insight from Coates' book. It will also understand better the passion behind BLM.
