Yo, Quinn, acanuck, You know how you're always telling us how great Canada is? Well dude you ever hear of flush toilets?
Anyone relying on their nose to guide them to a toilet at Quebec’s La Providence golf course won’t find one — that’s because its outhouse is odorless.
Beneath a tidy wooden latrine on the grounds is an army of earthworms that churn decaying organic materials into compost.

Hmmm...a possible new export industry?

Hmmm, exporting raw materials to Canada to support their industrial development. That's an interesting idea Dreamer. Usually I think we should process raw materials at home rather than sending them abroad. That's why I was upset about the destruction of American steel making. But Canada was always a good friend to America so if it will help get their under developed industry off the ground I would support shipping them the raw materials they need.
typical Canadian industrial plant

I was making a lame attempt at humor, actually. The article title conjured for me an absurdist image of Canada exporting the worms, as most countries these days, very much including the US, seem interested in coming up with new ideas for products or services to export. I wasn't intending to communicate any serious point. Maybe you are seeing some kernel there that I wasn't!

Oh.... Sorry, guess I misunderstood. I really wasn't expecting humor in a serious discussion of Canada's industrial development policies.
As for exporting worms, I'm not sure there's a market for them in America. Unlike Canada most American houses have one or more of these.

I'm sorry--my bad. I thought from the title, incorrectly, that it was a satirical piece, and did not read the article, as I now have. I'll be darned--it is a serious economic development effort. Shows you what I know. And the worms were exported--by the French.

The French. Pfffffffft. Acanuck can defend this one.
Meanwhile, I'm in the air over Tucson, visiting for the nephew's wedding. Plus, the Cards won again! Wooooooooooo!
Those Canadians. Ridonkulous.
