Guns again disrupt public school.

Dad's gun apparently.
Richard, did you see the report of the Ohio Mom shot dead by her 10-year old over wood chopping chores? link
I suppose the NRA gun lovers predispose their kin to the idea of shooting people when they have loaded guns around and tell the kids 'its here to shoot people', and the kid thinks 'I wonder what would happen if I aimed the gun at (-----) and pulled the trigger??'

Oh damn NCD.
We lost this argument decades ago and the Supremes just obliterated almost all hope of salvation recently.
I do not know what to do.
Who knows? The kid was always lectured on the power of guns, the kid got mad or just curious.
This is Greek Tragedy. About things that cannot be undone.
Why not try the tenyearold as an adult and finish the tragedy? Damn

Remember the movie,"Stand by me". Everybody loved it. Nostalgia, friendship, adventure, courage in the face of bullies, coming of age, and good music. And, a bullshit message that pissed me off and made my kids mad at me when I lectured for too long about the stupid macho message that it sent to young boys.
An early exciting scene that introduces the gun:

DD, right now I don't feel like trying to make what I guess would be called the metta case while thinking about this particular case where I don't know the particulars and while the boy's family must be suffering so terribly. I'll just hope the other victims come out of it OK.

Too much pressure on the kids?
8 hours of school with 4 hours of homework and what have they learned?
According to Burle Summers, president of the Ontario Morals/Values Education Association.
“The fast track, the quick promotion, gaining control, gaining the edge,” are held before children as important values.
“Serving others, respecting others, caring for others isn’t considered as important,” he said.
“Morally illiterate”
