I'm guessing you omitted an "s" in the fourth spot and not a "p" in the seventh.  wink

Rats. I love Deodato, and there were a few buildings on the list that were new to me.

I saw that we've passed the 800m mark. What do you place as the odds that we'll pass the 1km mark in the next 30 years or so?

The Saudi Kingdom Tower project is already supposed to reach 1,000m. They wanted to go a mile high, but scaled back.

    ECCE HOMO!

    I think about this.

Gobekli Tepe just blows my mind!

13,000 years of building edifices; edifices that count!

And at the same link I discussed the art; the art is fabulous from those ancient times and beyond.

Some skyscrapers--whether engineered correctly or not--blow my mind.

The height and the elegance. I am a poor peasant who must look up and exclaim:

    ECCE HOMO!

I do not know the purpose behind each edifice. I mean the Empire State Building was built by a man who went bankrupt building it.

The Saudis have more money than God for chrissakes!

I must admire what man has built.

    At what cost?

    I dunno.
