FEMALE TEAPARTIER SAYS WOMEN SHOULD NOT VOTE

    Susan B. Anthony

The President of the Central Mississippi Tea Party, a woman named Janis Lane, believes that women are too “mean, hateful” and “diabolical” to vote, and likely should not have been given the right. In an interview with the Jackson Free Press, Lane told the interviewer, “I’m really going to set you back here. Probably the biggest turn we ever made was when the women got the right to vote.” She went on: “Our country might have been better off if it was still just men voting. There is nothing worse than a bunch of mean, hateful women. They are diabolical in how than can skewer a person. I do not see that in men. The whole time I worked, I’d much rather have a male boss than a female boss. Double-minded, you never can trust them.

    I dunno.

I suppose that there must have been a few slaves who signed up for the Confederacy—willingly!

I am sure that good solid union men and women voted for Governor Walker in Wisconsin and will do so again.

I am sure that some good solid union guy or gal working in a Ford Plant might purchase a Toyota—although I would guess that there would be no real bragging about that purchase except in some pub after taking in too many Jello shots.

I am sure that police officers sometimes fall in with drug dealers in order to boost their IRA's and 401k's.

I am sure that judges sometimes fall in with corporate prison officials (the prison outsourcing gangs) in order to boost their retirement possibilities.

I am sure that politicians sometimes fall in with lobbyists in order to strengthen their re-elections and their family employment possibilities—or their own employment possibilities following their inability to find re-election.

I am sure that some carney-barkers hand out big teddy bears to relatives during games with baskets and balls.

Speaking of baskets and balls well I am sure that some athletes fall in with the drug crowd and eschew their oaths; especially those oaths made on contractual paper that allow for payments matching evil folks like Rush or Beckerhead or Welch.

Rush Limbaugh was predictably upset about Candy Crowley's performance at Tuesday night's presidential debate.

Conservatives charged that Crowley, who moderated the debate, was biased towards President Obama, and were especially outraged over her fact-check of Mitt Romney on Libya. Limbaugh joined their cries on Wednesday, alleging that she "kept feeding" Obama lines and interrupted Romney a total of twenty-eight times.

"In the real world, she would’ve committed career suicide last night," he said. "In the real world — in the media world I grew up in, her career would be finished."
Limbaugh continued, “She committed an act of journalistic terror or malpractice last night. If there were any journalist standards, what she did last night would have been the equivalent of blowing up her career like a suicide bomber. But there aren’t any journalist standards anymore. And she’s going to be praised and celebrated, probably even get a raise, give her another half hour on that show she hosts.

    Journalistic terror?

"Riots in Denver, the Democrat Convention would see to it that we don't elect Democrats," Limbaugh said during Wednesday's radio broadcast. He then went on to say that's the best thing that could happen to the country.

I mean, rush is accusing someone named 'Candy' of terrorism?

I know, this smells of simple hypocrisy but damn....who is calling the kettle fat? Huh?

I also know that rush will tell folks he is head of the repub party and then slink down under the table and claim he is an entertainer.

I know when someone is an entertainer for chrissakes!

    Liberace was an entertainer.

    Jimmy Durante was an entertainer.

(I came back and added this beautiful song; some of which is on some recent ad on the tellie; Q once said, believe it or not, that we should all take five minutes to say something nice about somebody! I love this song.)

    Fred Astaire was an entertainer.

I mean look at rush, this is not entertainment!

What is an entertainer? I dunno, but rush is a goddamn NAZI demagogue and he aint no entertainer.

He just skews ratings for the mentally challenged who just do not like Negroes and Mexicans and women and poor folk!

I KNOW, I HATE RUSH AND I BLOVIATE.

    Hahahahah

But for rush to call Candy a terrorist?

I have to admit that I fantasize about Republican women not being able to vote...how any woman could ever vote to go back to the 50's is beyond me.  Yet here we are. Somehow they've convinced themselves Roe v Wade is safe (maybe because after 8 years of Bush nothing changed) but they don't factor in that the next Pres may stack the court so the next time it is challenged it will be gone, or else the states will effectively make it a moot point by closing all the facilities that offer the services.

"I have to admit that I fantasize about Republican women" as well, Stilli.

Q, you fantasize about bovine women for chrissakes!

STICK TO THE SUBJECT FOR CHRISSAKES!

Well I do not mean that you should actually 'stick' to the subject of course but...

    Well that is another subject.

    hahahahaha

Oh Stilli, I mean this is three days old on the web; and there SHE IS!

Almost a hundred years to achieve, and this woman would advocate this kind of crap?

Well she makes money doing it.

I swear to Almighty God, that I have oftimes though of writing about how important the FREE MARKET THEORY IS. Even though, that same theory told me for 60 years that NOTHING IS FREE.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAH

One of my favorite old saws is  this: Opinions are like assholes -- everybody's got one.

Now, the lady in Mississippi has an opinion. I imagine this opinion of hers is in a distinct minority. I'd even venture to say there's about four women in her whole state that agree with her and they probably all attend the same bingo parlor but never get to yell bingo because they're crappy players. That's probably what makes wimmin mean. Not being able to yell bingo.

Anyhoo. This Mississippi lady's 15 minutes of fame has expired.

    BOOM.

She and her four bingo friends have just been marginalized.

Oh, and also, too, bloviating conservative radio talk show host says there aren’t any journalist standards anymore.

    I reckon he would know.

devil ... Shift+R improves the quality of this image. Shift+A improves the quality of all images on this page.

    hahahahahah

    Yeah no journalistic standards anymore.

    hhahahahaha

    I forgot about that line.

    hahahahahah\

    Oh my goodness!

    mouse not happy!

hit the button too many times!

...and yet she voted for Grumpy/Sarah Palin. Can't vote but OK as VP.

    GRUMPY! hahahahahah

You know normally I would encourage everyone to vote and I might try to inspire or encourage them if they were thinking of not voting but in this case... perhaps we are better off if 'this' woman does not vote.

    Perhaps...

I shall email her and inform her that the election has been put off till the 11th!

    hahahahah
