Thanks, man. I was actually in a kind down mode and this put a smile on my face, esp the part with the Beaver doing the twist.

PEGGY IS FULL OF....
In just the past week PEGGY SUE ANNOUNCED that she knew what was the matter with this country and the inability of government to work:
The president shouldn’t be using a fateful and divisive word like “impeachment” to raise money and rouse his base. He shouldn’t be at campaign-type rallies where he speaks only to the base, he should be speaking to the country. He shouldn’t be out there dropping his g’s, slouching around a podium, complaining about his ill treatment, describing his opponents with disdain: “Stop just hatin’ all the time.”
Should I begin this blog with a reference to King Reagan or George W. Bush, the single worst orator who ever sat in the Oval Office? (At least during the last hundred years since we became capable of adequate video and audio reproduction?)

Where is Noonan on these issues?

But who cares, really? Peggy spews propaganda like a Lady; like an upper class woman who does not give one goddamn about ''the people'.
It just is that her transparency is without the colorful racist, 'classicist' or the 'corporatist' sentiments that echo the wonderful members of the Right like Rush or Levin or a hundred other militarists who appear on right talk radio or FOX every damn day! She hides behind what she perceives as PC. (Personal Contempt for those who have nothing)
I should start with Reagan videos before I even get into Bush2.
Let us continue with George W.
(Or, in George W. Bush’s version: There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.”)
Dropping 'g's'?
I cannot really address the silliest assault upon MY PRESIDENT by Peggy Sue. Ramona just examined this senile George Will rather well, in my opinion.
But Peggy really made her mark in the sand.
Does she not have a staff?
Did not one of these minions approach this stupid woman with the fact that her criticism of the Prez was ridiculous?
I have had it.
Comments
Peggy is absolutely right. Obama should be ashamed for making lemonade out of the lemons the Republicans have been handing him. It's not at all their fault for giving him those lemons.

Oh Peggy!
She lives in this bubble and could not empathize with others out of her class anymore than some Dame in 18th century Britain or France!

Peggy Noonan was one of the girls growing up that would have been invited to a sleep over party. Just so when she fell asleep, her underwear would be run up the flag pole in front of the High School.

I dunno.
Sleep over party just describes the entire ethos.
