So shocking were the day’s events to the Canadian psyche that organizers canceled a National Hockey League game between the Ottawa Senators and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The parliamentary incursion set off a rolling shootout with security and police that started in parliament’s foyer and ended with a gunman, wearing a blue and white headscarf, lying dead near the parliament library entrance. A mobile phone video captured the chaos as authorities, guns drawn, moved in on one of the invaders and opened fire, more than a dozen shots reverberating loudly in the stately arches of the building. This is something that is important.
I am sick of the Ebola scare, until it affects my children or grandchildren, but there is nothing else on the air, as they say.
In a week or so, the entire USA is going to be infiltrated by terrible people, at least that is what the pollsters tell me.
But damn!
There are traitors within our midst!
But Oh Canada!
This is a big deal.
Hell, terrorist(s) are attacking the government in Canada.
That is a big deal.
I still keep praying for 'help' on election day, and this mess does not spell H E L P.
Ad ebola to terrorism and this spells disaster for our elections.
That is all I got right now.

Sixty million dollar GOTV is in full swing in all the competitive senate seats. This is a huge operation. There is no way this will show up in the poles. Florida is not part of it but there is still as big of one as there was in 2012 here in swing.
Canada is not used to this. I hope they don't over react to it like we always do here.
