A very well written report of the events
Even to this day, it makes me sad to hear how this Great mans life ended.
I hope to see him again in the resurrection and I get a chance to know him.

Huffpo today has a piece about Larry Kramer's new book. In this book Kramer points out all the possible gay notable men in our history. Anyone who has every listen to Kramer run his mouth on CNBC isn't surprised at this approach.

I guess things like this help sell books but I don't see Kramer as a great American historian. On the other hand young gay's, need historic figures to look up to.

That's a very interesting article from The Blaze (link embedded in the quote). I couldn't care less about anything Kramer has to say, but thanks for the pipeline to a good read!

I thought is was a good read too. We read about his break downs but never the cause.

This anniversary or these anniversaries of a Holocaust that ended with 650,000 dead has led to so many great essays and books over the last four or five years.
There are so many ways to tell the story.
At any rate, I feel that this country began in 1861.
And this is an amazing story to be told.

The first authenticated image of Abraham Lincoln was this Daguerreotype of him as U.S. Congressman-elect in 1846, attributed to Nicholas H. Shepard of Springfield, Illinois
