Trump was also the first one to ever say "the calm before the storm". Amazing or what?
People say Trump's grandmother was descended from Goethe.

Hopefully is not this
David Ignatius @ WaPo: A question for the Iran hawks: If the United States refuses to certify an agreement when a country is “technically” in compliance, why would any other country ever make a deal with us again? A great country keeps its word.

Looks to me like instead of causing a storm by firing the grownups in the cabinet, he has decided to fight back by showing he is king of the castle and the whole world, everything under his control, including the Republican party; they are all his minions and are losers without his support.

It's been over a week now and all we got so far is the same old same old daily hurricanes. Where's the money on this promise? Can some reporter follow up?

Ah but I also like this: that it is important not to confuse the problem of a reactionary agenda with the Trump problem:
Fantasist is a word that hasn't been used enough with him. The fantasies continually spill out of him and the role play to go with them. And this seems to be speeding up over time to a manic state. I dare say this is more accurately where many of us are equating with mental illness, rather than as regards the narcissism. That 's the one that really hit me.

That's a good point. There are narcissists who get things done despite needing to always include themselves in every narrative. Fantasists do not experience contradictions.
