The Toronto Sun article says there were “ anti-racists” and so- called racist. The article then describes proud- to- be rednecks who interrupted the meeting with shouts and a white supremacist sitting in the audience. I guess these were the so-called racists.

Nova Scott’s has a rich black history. Matthieu de Costa, a freedman, was one of the original non-indigenous explorers of the area. Novia Scotia was also the place where many blacks who fought for the British in the Revolutionary War were placed for their safety after fleeing the United States when the British lost.
