Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon tore into the powerful Koch political network Sunday, accusing it of undermining President Donald Trump ahead of a midterm election that threatens to derail his presidency.
“What they have to do is shut up and get with the program, OK?” Bannon said in an interview with POLITICO. “And here’s the program: Ground game to support Trump’s presidency and program, [and] victory on Nov. 6.”
Bannon’s comments came as the network of major Republican Party donors, led by billionaire industrialist Charles Koch, convened in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to discuss the 2018 political landscape. During the retreat, top Koch officials described the Trump White House as toxic and destructive to the country.
They sharply criticized Trump's protectionist trade policies, arguing that his actions were taking a toll on the economy. A video shown during the conference depicted images of recently shuttered businesses [....]

Top Koch officials deacribed the Trump White House as toxic to the country.
So this means they are going to support an all-out effort to flip both chambers and repeal the tax legislation, right?
They got theirs. But...it's never enough. There is no such thing as enough with this crowd. And since there is no such thing as society, other people don't matter.

Good on them! Somebody doing the work of actually trying to figure out what happened with that massive bill instead of guessing based on one's political bent!
The IRS hasn't even figured it all out yet., they are still sending out 'splainers.. A colleague and I were just discussing that the other day as to policy change that might affect reasons taxpayers need appraisals, nobody seems to know for sure yet. They truly haven't totally figured out all that the lobbyists did yet. One thing's for sure: it didn't simplify the tax code.

looks like Trump is totally on board with the Bannonite anti-globalist-elite spin, at least for today (always got to keep the fans in mind!):

The Hill is right to spend man hours on continuing to cover this, it's very important major cracks in GOP right before mid-terms of major importance:

A reminder that Bannon used Mercer money to get followers and believers and votes --- that's kaput. A reminder that he was also reaching out to a lefty economics academic who was protectionist on China in his last week of the White House. He's always on the lookout for new coalitions, for or against him. Clearly, he's still strong on anti-eilte and anti-establishment GOP.
