Drop the mic, indeed.  I like this young man!

    Ducky; THIS IS DELIGHTFULL.

    THANK YOU!

I think it is disrespectful, because the protocol is that standing is respectful. But they don't need to be respectful. Police killings of African-Americans are vastly more important than whether people are respectful to the nation. I would dispute his statement that our freedoms have been purchased by those in uniform; that's mostly crap, unless we're talking about the Civil War.

tweet from a self described Speechwriter & communications consultant. South Dakota native. #MNTwins fan. Old school conservative and, thus, an ex-GOPer:

I watch major league baseball virtually every night (on a Fox-owned regional sports network, no less). The national anthem is never shown. Have never thought of this as a slap across America's face. https://t.co/VcwLfPOZht

Surprise surprise, you get a bit of a mulligan if you rent from Trumpco:

HMMM: In interview, TRUMP (surprisingly) defends @NIKE's @Kaepernick7 ad campaign as an expression of free speech, while also (unsurprisingly) noting that a major Nike store is located in a Trump bldg: “Nike is a tenant of mine. They pay a lot of rent." https://t.co/yr8fl9SNNz
