it reminds me of Eastern European folk tales for some reason, especially the way they walk away like henpecked losers at the end. There is this archetype where the women are always the more powerful in the village and do all the actual work of keeping things going and the guys are all like poseurs playacting...when push comes to shove they reveal it's all strings and mirrors and the women are handling surviving day to day. it's in both Christian and Jewish tales

I want also to explain one thing about between-war Belarus to the Russian guy. This was a Polish mistake, that during Riga negotiations in 1921 our side resigned from taking the whole Belarus into Poland, despite the fact it was controlled by Polish Army.

Events: Heavy gunfire is occuring around the area of the U.S. Embassy and residential compounds adjacent to the Trutier area of Tabarre. All Embassy personnel have been instructed to remain indoors and shelter-in-place until further notice. All others should avoid the area.

Actions to take:

Avoid the area;

Avoid demonstrations and any large gatherings of people;

Do not attempt to drive through roadblocks; and

If you encounter a roadblock, turn around and get to a safe area.
