    Martin Luther King Day

A few good quotes from Martin Luther King Jr.:

“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”

“There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.” ~ Martin Luther King

I want to thank everyone with this website for helping me. There were some really bad posts where it sounded like I was on crack but I have been consciously using my presence here to find a new voice for writing which is not self-centered and appeals to a broad audience. Reprogramming yourself like that takes alot of effort.

There are few figures in history who are full of as much wisdom as Martin Luther King was. It's a pity he never became president.

    Take care all.

Great quotes, Orion.  Two very good choices from a man who understood how easy it is to fall down and how challenging (but rewarding) it is to rise above.  Thank you.

Yes and thank you too, Ramona. This site has helped me figure out what works and what doesn't. You guys are great. Most intelligent website out there, I think.
