Just trust Mitt on this, he really really really pays taxes. Lots of taxes. He would show you his tax returns, but he isn't, trust him. Maybe the dog did eat them, they might have fallen into the Alpo bowl, or maybe the dog got real hungry.
Mitt couldn't even afford to pay any more taxes, he is, after all, a member of the 1%, a group who the country supposedly depends on to pick up the slack on April 15 for the rest of us small timers. We all know the Republicans say the wealthy pay far more than their fair share. Have faith that Mitt does too, but don't ask him for proof.
His lifetime 'unemployment compensation' from Bain Capital is just enough to live on, build or demolish huge houses, and provide $70-100 million in trust fund inheritance packages for his five sons.
Mitt's tax contributions are so enormous, why, he might be able to use them to pay for the war with Iran he has said he would start.
Of course, Mitt can't promise even one of his five (5) trust fund sons would sign up to fight for their country in Mitt's war. Not one of them has worn the uniform or served in Iraq or Afghanistan. Mitt will however, send your kids, or you to fight in Mitt's War. Romney's War to 'stop a nuclear Iran' might interfere with his sons career plans, or they may have 'other priorities'.
Somebody else's kids will have the task to save the world. They will have to shed the blood. And if Mitt isn't paying much in taxes, somebody else, like you, will definitely, positively, have to pay the costs of Mitt's War.
