    WE BEAT THE CHISOX!

    Minnesota Twins Insignia.svg

We beat the Chicago White Sox today.

We beat KC three times before all this.

    We are 4 and 0!

Well we have another 158 games or so to prove ourselves.

    THE TWINS WIN!

But that is not really the point.

I could go on and on about how we never win 4 games in a row to begin a season.

I am reading yesterday's Star & Trib and in the last ten years we have never won 3 games let alone four games as the season opened.

We were 3 and 9 last year in the first twelve games of 2016. hahahahah

I could go on and on about lost opportunities over the decades and how we were once the farm team for the New York Yankees.

I am simply amazed at my emotions.

I have nothing to do with the Minnesota Twins.

Of course they came to us from DC in 1960.

I have lived in the Twin Cities or at least other parts of Minnesota all of my life.

But I have never in my entire life had a stake in this team.

I have never ever bet on a sports event of any kind in my entire life.

But here I am, happy as a clam. (Why are clams happy anyway? I mean they sleep in the sand and....)

    Anyway....

There is no rational reason for me to be so elated by this fourth win of a new season.

    I aint a Twin..

I do not bet on the Twins.

I have no relative who is a Twin.

And just imagine Cub fans last year?

I mean their 'team' had not won a world series in over 110 years?

    And they won.

    And they went nuts.

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It just occurs to me that there is an emotional factor with regard to elections.

    I am a Dem.

    You are a Repub

I hope you lose the superbowl.

Clinton wins, and I am ecstatic.

Obama wins and I weep in luxury.

    hahhaahah

Bush wins, I swear at the tv.

There is some sort of team spirit involved in all of this that has nothing to do with rationality.

So how am I supposed to assess Mr. Trump?

Well, my thoughts lie with Sam Harris.

But do my 'thoughts' have anything to do with all of this?

    But....

This guy promised to bomb the shit out of ISIS, even though he never had any idea who ISIS really was.

And now he bombs the shit out of Syria.

So his 'team' must love this shit.

I mean, to them their team won and now their team is winning?

And so we bomb some airway.

SEE AA'S BLOG ON ALL OF THIS.

    Anyway....

    We win, and we lose?

There are more issues at hand here.

It just gets to me sometimes.

WHY THE FUCK AM I SO DAMNED HAPPY THE TWINS WON TODAY?

And why do some folks like brown eyed handsome men?
