    Who Cares About Las Vegas

In the midst of 10+ percent unemployment, who gives a crap about what Obama says about wasting money in Las Vegas?

I care about finding a job.  Not even a good paying one anymore.  Just a job.

I have been unemployed since September 2008.  So have alot of other people.  Some of the news stories American media has chosen to focus on is seriously pathetric and ridiculous.

I guess we already forgot about Haiti.

It is a sad but true fact; a news story that helps people or uplifts or helps has a shelf life of 1-2 nights of a typical broadcast.  It pisses me off that we are back to the John Edwards love triangle, the Tiger Woods breakup status--instead of thousands of homeless human beings dying of starvation, infection, and of simple household maladys such as diarrhea in Port Au Prince.

So the President said that Americans should spend their money wisely, and not gamble it away in Las Vegas..  Is that so horrible?

My church pastor says this in church every Sunday.

My God, how they love to stir up the pile.

Harry Reid is afraid of losing his constituents.  So I know why he came out like Obama has foot in mouth disease.  An election that he should know he might lose.

But for the American Media to jump on this story--you know, just anything to abrupt the upsurge the good week Obama has been having--when I am out of work, my wife is out of work, her mom is out of work, my mom is out of work, my 3 friends are out of work, and unemployment is running out...  and the news says the recession is over.

I am at a loss.  This country is being failed.

America, like Haiti, doesn't need pathetic, petty, unimportant shit-disturbing.

    We need help now.
