Ice cream. And Newtown

In the April 18th Financial Times, Edward Luce (Hillary Clinton's Missing Theme) lamented the fact that Hillary seems diffuse: Either in that same oped  or in one a few days earlier he essentially said  ask anyone, and they can tell you in 30 seconds what Trump or Cruz or Bernie intends to do. But Hillary, she just kind of suggests she'd do a better job of what Bill or Barak were doing..

Not slamming her, lamenting, because he mostly agrees with her positions. Was he listening tonight I wonder?

Nonsense about Hillary

For both of my readers, here's my list of the most nonsensical attacks on Hillary. Since it's important she win today I figure I should speak now or forever hold my peace- which I would certainly hate doing.

1. She's hiding the contents of her speeches  to various bunches of investment bankers.?  Let's see. How many people were in the room?  And why haven't some of them spilled the beans?  Do you think every banker in the room was an FOH? Hasn't the media asked? The reason the contents haven't  been reported is because 'there's no there, there'.

Thank God ......or Bernie

“Sure I will,” he said, when pressed by CBS News’ Charlie Rose in an interview. “Look, as I said a million times, I think the idea of a Donald Trump or a Ted Cruz presidency would be an unmitigated disaster for this country. I will do everything in my power and work as hard as I can to make sure that that does not happen. And if Secretary Clinton is the nominee, I will certainly support her.”

Hillary won Arizona

When we get Utah and Idaho  I'll post that here.

Trump won Arizona. There are unofficial rumors that Cruz is doing well in Utah.A fact is that Cruz won the most Mormon  county in Arizona according to  538  and that may be an indicator of his performance in Utah.

In Utah  Sanders has a wide lead over Hill. And I'm going to bed.

The same friends who voted for Nader

in  2000 now plan to vote for Bernie. I guess you could say "figures".  But...

At least in 2000 they could  argue Gore was going to  carry their heavily democratic states so not only was  there no down side to a Nader vote but it served to signal  there were votes available to the left.

Clearly at this point it's too soon for that. The primary  margins influence voters down stream so we can't avoid considering that, sadly,   any one of the remaining republicans candidates could be inflicted on the nation if we get it wrong..

Right now 10 15 pm est Bernie is on MSNBC

being interviewed by Chris Matthews.

You could watch.

Hillary raises money from people with

money because people with money have money that she can raise from them.

If you take my meaning.

So who won?

Bernie was better than I expected him to be. Hillary was better than I expected her to be..

As Bernie said in his last remark  they were both better than anyone we've heard so far in the disgraceful  Republicans mud wrestles.

We're lucky to have two such high quality candidates.

Let us face the matter squarely

As a commercial people should                                                                                                                   We have learned  no end of a lesson.                                                                                                            It will do us no end of good
