It's extremely unlikely that someone would catch Ebola from simply being on the same plane or in the same public space with someone who was affected. That's because Ebola doesn't tend to travel through the air like the flu and other respiratory illnesses.
In order to catch Ebola, you have to touch the bodily fluids (such as sweat, vomit, diarrhea, blood, urine, or semen) of an Ebola patient After that, you would have to get the virus into your body by, for example, touching food and eating it.
The current outbreak is so bad because it's happening in places with poor health infrastructure

Here's an interesting development . . .
Bio-high-tech treatment for Ebola may have saved two US citizens

As anyone who has ever worked in the field before can attest to, it's much easier to do scientific work in a familiar environment surrounded by high-tech equipment than to do so in the field where you have to select ahead of time which equipment you think will be useful enough to justify shipping over there and setting up.

Ewwwww! Frankenscience.
And Elon Musk is worried about the dangers of Artificial Intelligence. Biotech is way scarier.

Now Ebola is here; thanks to an inept hospital staff
(people involved, should be harshly punished)
Shut the darn border, build the dang fence if that's what it is going to take
How many more Americans have to be put at risk?
Thousands of illegals, flooding across our borders; Thanks to inept border security
but of course no one will say; if these unvaccinated, had any part in bringing into this country, the life threatening respiratory diseases and paralysis affecting OUR children, from them?
Enterovirus D68 in the United States, 2014 - Centers for ...
Where are the thousands who entered and were dispersed amongst the citizens of the US?
Would knowing this information, undermine the "Open Borders" agenda?
Shut the border, protect American citizens from the liberals and illegal / undocumented entrants.
Enforce our laws; before it kills US.

The first case of Enterovirus D68 was in California in 1962. The disease has a seasonal incidence cases. The number of cases has increased. Worldwide the cases peaked in the United States, Europe, and Asia, not Central America.

The Ebola patient is a native Liberian who helped a family take care of a pregnant woman suffering from Ebola. He helped the family transport the woman to a hospital where they were turned away. She died at home. The Liberian returned to Dallas. He had been screened in Liberia, but was asymptomatic. He became symptomatic after arrival.
He either didn't tell those in the hospital in Dallas about his travel to Liberia, or he told a nurse who did not relay the information. No physician asked any question about foreign travel. He was sent home, only to return. He apparently had contact with over a dozen children who are being monitored for signs of disease.

You know very well that what you are suggesting has nothing to do with the Ebola crisis (which is not here, that is an isolated case until shown otherwise), solving immigration issues, or the enterovirus mrd0000 has shown is hardly new.
Why do you keep revealing how little grasp of events you have?
And yes, I'm sure this is "hate speech" to you.
Deal with it.

until shown otherwise ? Is that what passes as wisdom? Nothing to see here folks (until shown otherwise) Ya think?
Is it the blind or foolish who could never imagine, that drug "Mules" can not only carry contraband, but can also be carriers of diseases.
While the US government is protecting Iraq from ISIL Thousands upon thousands have sneaked across our unsecured Southern border.
But not to fear, our Homeland security is on the job. I hope they're better than the Secret Service.
"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
America is rich, they will find a cure .....or die.
The cure ...... Stop them from entering the country illegally

Ebola in the hands of terrorists, infecting thousands on our Southern border?
Who is going to stop this event? The government has had years to stem the tide of the undocumented, but instead, turns a blind eye. Pandering? Greed?.

Because it is relatively hard to transmit, Ebola would not be the first choice as a bioweapon.
