Who said Trump had anything to do with the Republican party anyways?! Bunch of widdle midgets! Oh the campaign costs... Trumpco will just pay em back, here's a promissory note....
Hindsight 20-20: they knew, they could see in polls, this from yesterday in the Washington Examiner:
My hindsight 20-20: Northern Virginia is chock full of employees of the swamp, might not like being embarrassed all the time about who they work under?
by artappraiser on Tue, 11/07/2017 - 11:42pm
You're prolly right on Bannon, NCD, because: there's no there there!
TrumpBannon Populism party has no candidates and no funding system. The meetings with Mercer after he left the White House were probably just pie-in-the-sky ruminations on same. This is also why he was reaching out to that progressive writer on trade protectionism against China in his last days, thinking about coalitions with the most fervant Sandersnistas.. For all the bluster and viral hype, it's still infancy without candidates. How many other billionaires available besides Mercer and Trump that would sign on to the Bannon program? Koch's are in strong opposition. He was thinking Tea Party to Freedom Caucus to even greater power, instead they are flailing and failing. They are not ready with candidates to fill the resignations of the RINOS. His "let Trump be Trump" mantra is just going to backfire in those RINO districts. Also backfires with Sandersnistas.

I dunno, but this orange haired piece of crap might get us a majority in one house or another.
WHO KNOWS?
by Richard Day on Tue, 11/07/2017 - 10:53pm
Trump said that only he was important. When his candidate lost in Alabama, Trump disowned him. Now he is throwing Gillespie under the bus. There is no loyalty.
by rmrd0000 on Tue, 11/07/2017 - 11:02pm

Still a lotta red geographically:
on WaPo's home page, the map is live with updates for each county when you put your cursor over the county, also shows for each county whether Trump or Clinton in 2016.

Yeah, you know my dad owned about 6 times as much land as everyone else on the street we lived on. Put in a huge organic garden and planted fruit and nut trees. Still when he went to vote he just got one. But that year he voted for Reagan it sure did make a big splotch of red when I colored in my street for the school project.
