ABC News’ Brian Ross reported on Friday morning that Flynn has agreed to “fully cooperate” with Mueller in the probe, and is “prepared to testify… against President Trump, against members of the Trump family and others in the White House.”

Most significantly, Ross’ source says that Flynn will tell Mueller that Trump as a presidential candidate ordered him to make “direct contact” with the Russian government to help his campaign.

It's amazing that the snowflake media still thinks it can get away with fake news stories or spin anything from these weak threads. Their collusion and conspiracy is open and they did manage to keep the fake Flynn lie up for 7 hours, so it was imprinted on the rubes unlike the retracion. All this follow-up story spin does is show that the Trump team rejected any hidden meetings arranged by overstimulated lesser watercarriers. The Russians were lobbying for better relations with the US and we are cooperating with them on Syria and the IS but Trump has also imposed new sanctions because of other disagreements.

Trump signed the seriously flawed sanctions bill and is now implementing it and the Russians are pissed and complaining. The tax and spend fanatics return to gnashing their teeth and rending their garments whenever the Right cuts taxes but the tax revenues the government collects continue to rise. It has increased by $1 trillion over the last decade even with the great recession. When we actually see the tax bill that passes I expect the top quintile's effective tax rate will still be about 7 times that of the lowest quintile and double that of people who earn $100K.

The article is speculating on whether Flynn wore a wire for the Mueller investigation. That is a different kettle of fish from proposing the ubiquity of Deep State™. In the first case, the recording can be used as evidence in a court of law or Congressional review. In the second case, not so much.

I'm just speculating but Flynn appeared to refuse all cooperation with the witch-hunt until this plea deal was reached and his legal team maintained information sharing contacts with the WH until just before the deal. I don't know when the plea deal was signed but the covert clause seems to be forward looking.

The facts are that the investigation isn't a witch hunt. A witch hunt is when innocents are pursued. Both Papadopoulos and Flynn have pled guilty so they are not innocent. Manafort and Gates has been credibly charged with money laundering. Perhaps that's all there is or perhaps the speculation is correct that there's more and it goes further and deeper. Given the situation with the plea deals it's likely there's more. How much more we still don't know. You can attempt to make the argument that the crimes are trivial but with the guilty pleas it's clear this is not a witch hunt.

This is a political witch-hunt with an agenda aimed at overturning an election with zero real evidence supporting the claimed collusion between Trump and Putin. Because there is no evidence of collusion other targets near Trump are used to justify the continuing disruption which will continue through the next election. The grand inquisitioner Mueller didn't discover Manafort's crimes he snatched the nearly completed investigation from the FBI to pad his witch-hunt. Manafort was going to prison before Mueller adopted him and his crimes have nothing to do with Trump, his campaign or the Russians. GI Mueller's stagecraft is pathetically transparent suppressing the plea deal news about Papadoc so he could use it as a shiny object on top of an unrelated criminal case. The two false statements plea deals were stupid mistakes with no real reason for the false statements because there was no crime to to cover up, if that was their intentions.

If it was stupid to make false statements to the FBI because there were no crimes committed then it was also stupid to fire Comey because he was hell bent on investigating people who did nothing wrong. That stupidity led to Mueller being named Special Counsel for the stupid reason that none of the Republicans in the House or Senate wanted to be responsible for the fallout from investigating Russian interference in the election so they pushed it on to the DOJ.

Your team doesn't appear to be very intelligent if it is in fact the case that all these reports of partnering with a foreign power to win the election are completely untrue. A smarter team would have revealed the innocuous quality of this virtuous administration from the get go and made fools of the political opportunists that would bring them low.

This is going to be a long war so you need to pace yourself and be prepared for setbacks. The Supreme Court ruled 7 to 2 to support Trump and allow his travel restrictions/ban to take full effect. It is good to see 7 justices rule on the merits not emotions. I think language to open up part of the ANWR for drilling is in the new tax bill. I'm not excited by this but it is needed to keep the Alaska pipline functioning and cut down our imports of oil.

I haven't read anywhere that the FBI had nearly completed the investigation of Manafort and Gates. I think you're full of shit. But even if that's true it doesn't make Muller's investigation a witch hunt. It's still a credible charge and not a witch hunt. Credible enough that Manafort had to put up two houses worth 11.5 million to get bail. It's possible that Papadopoulos and Flynn had no reason to lie to the FBI and did it just for shits and grins. At this point we can only speculate as to their reasons for lying. But they did plead guilty to lying which is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.

You want to call it a witch hunt to attempt to diminish the investigation. You might have been able to hold that opinion when it started but now that is factually incorrect. It's a credible investigation that has already obtained guilty pleas from two men and charged two others with money laundering and other crimes. The dictionary is your friend, Peter, you really should use it so you don't sound like an idiot. There's spin and speculation from both sides that this is all there is or that these guilty pleas indicate that more is coming. I'd bet on the latter but usually I don't spin. I just wait and see.
