I live in the European Union - we have free trade, it's easy to move around from Spain to Greece to Poland and Sweden to Ireland; no more trucks stacking up at the borders - it's great. Business trip? Buy a $60 ticket, you're there next day. Sell something? Write an invoice, no other paperwork.

Parts of free trade are ugly, and you try to deal with Spanish fishing, French farmers, poor Romanians and German fear of inflation under one umbrella - still better than a hodgepodge of unaligned rules. TPP may be worse, but free trade's not bad per se.

Of course you have to split public and private stance - look how Obama was getting butchered just for talking to Iran and the right's still attacking him for the nuke deal. Look at how they jumped on Bill's "crazy" comment about Obamacare when Obamacare as implemented and obstructed *is* crazy.

Hillary's pragmatic, "evidence-based decision making" - that's why I support her - if it's not working, she'll recognize it and work to change it before most.

I assume you read the actual comments, not just the Intercept excerpts. Once again not much there there - and yeah, she's "moderate" but moderate liberal. Whatevers.
