Following Ramona's instructions, I add this link:
Peracles does the best recap of Schlafly's death. Peracles should just do his own post on this.
To tell the truth, I shall miss her.
Ann Coulter is not good enough to even shine Phyllis' shoes.
Her death represents the end of an era in this country.
I personally believe that voices like hers can only be heard in Muslim enclaves. hahahaha
Oh and I still prize Ms. Schlafly's blog that was invented to counter-balance Wiki.
I think Wiki has had a billion or more 'hits'.
And Conservopedia or whatever it is called has had twenty. hahahahah
the end

From Adele Stan, Alternet, 4 years ago (heavily chopped up - click on link to see the full version):
Yeah, quite a piece of work. Shame she didn't live to see The Donald enact all her favored policies - he's lost a kindred spirit, another master of ribald dogmatism and self-promotion combined with innate misogyny.

Well done Peracles.
I actually wrote five or six sentences that do not show up here.
Hell, my link never even showed up?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/conservative-activist-phyllis-schlafly-dead-at-92_us_57ce0171e4b0a22de096adfe?
Maybe I screwed up the 'save' function?
I did note that her name is extremely difficult to spell. hahahahah
She also started this silly conservative response to Wiki.
But honestly, Phyllis represented a past era that we shall never see again.
And she knew, absolutely knew, that she was right!
ha

I added the link for you, Richard. I was shocked that you didn't editorialize! ;)
You can always go back and edit your piece if something's not right.

Nothing except the good?
Nothing unless it's good?
My Lingua Latina is so lame these days
Anyway, well put! I mean I recall the line.

Et de mortuis nil scribere? it's a blog, hard to observe a long moment of silence with no digital ink. At least we didn't link to "Ding dong, the witch is dead".

hahahahahahh
YOU MAKE MY DAY.

Thanks so much for finding this, PP. It brought back a lot of ugly memories. She was the Ann Coulter of her time. She would say whatever would get her the most attention, not caring in the least if it was hurtful or a dead-out lie.

She was worse - Coulter was always a bit nutty, a bit slutty* - easy to dismiss. Schlafly represented the establishment in its purest, most hateful form.
*yeah, she wanted to be the "good looking" or "hot" conservative before Fox News filled out its lineup
