"Democrats have occupied the White House for sixteen of the last twenty-four years, and in that time . . . they’ve done nothing to change the vicious cycle of wealth and power that has rigged the economy for the benefit of those at the top, and undermined the working class."

I like Robert Reich. I met him in 1989 at a lecture he was doing about Dr. Deming. He is still the same economist that he was then. I help him set up his equipment. He was a big influence on my knowledge of economics. I am not surprised that he is giving a full throated support for Sanders. He is part of the economic school of thought call Modern Monetary Theory. I can't explain it in one little comment but it also has influenced Sanders. I would write more but I would then have to argue with Clinton supporters. MMT is far more interesting then Clinton.

Like MMT is incompatible with supporting Clinton?
I'm happy to have a little theory with my campaign seasoning.

Hal, my longer comment was erased, so I'll make it short.(keyboard issues)
A Trump nomination would change my equation on Bernie, he'd be the winner, which is what I care about---beating Republicans.
A Trump/Bernie matchup would be a fundamental change in our political structure---i.e., the age of the outsider. Bernie would win by a landslide and ergo have the coat tails to effect reforms.

I agree with you. He would have long coat tails in that case because of a wave year. This thing with Flint has got some Republicans rethinking their ideology. They are seeing the end game and they don't like it. This is going to be an interesting election season. It already is.
