I have been involved in this type of community service for a long time. I don't know how many blankies I have made for my local shelter and prenatal unit. Not only do the quilters make quilts but also teddy bears.
It up sets me to see all those young children at the boarder with metallic survivor blankets. We can do better then that.

I am not surprised, although moved, to hear about your work in this.
I don't supose it would be practical to arrange for me to show up at St. Peter's reception desk at the same time you do--I could really do worse than just say, "hey, I'm with her...."

I had visions of White House pillow talk between the First Lady and the President, when this news story broke.
"Barry what are you going to do for those little kids at the boarder?" says Michelle. "We can't keep them pend up like that. They are just babies and little kids. They need hugs and good meals. Do something or I am going down there."
"Yes dear, the first thing in the morning."
"No, you call Joe right now and get him started."
"OK. Now will you turn off the light."
