From the article:
Others who didn't give credit to Obama in remarks about Bin Laden's death were Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, ex-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania — although Huckabee did mention the president’s name.
Former Speaker Newt Gingrich, ex-Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty included some gratitude to Obama in their statements.
Not that I think it's impossible to overdo giving Obama credit, or that we should expect or even want members of the political opposition to lather it on thick. I just think it's interesting to read/hear the responses of other public figures rumored to have presidential aspirations, most of whom no doubt will, if they do run, laud the practice of bipartisanship without blushing.

Obama took the wind out of their sails and when they checked their maps, they discovered they were in the doldrums..water,water everywhere but nary a breath of breeze...water water everywhere nor a current to set them free.

Yeah if Bush hadn't been on vacation the entire month of 8/2001, ignored warnings about Bin laden striking America, let BL escape from Tora Bora, invaded the wrong country and wasted thousand of lives and trillions of dollars in Iraq while lying about Saddam being connected to 9/11, if Bush didn't care or 'think about' BL anymore from 2002 on, if Bush had not disbanded the BL unit in 2006 and stripped resources from the military to try to keep his fiasco in Iraq from falling apart, if all those things Bush screwed up on never happened, Obama would not have the SEALS hunting for BL and killing BL in 2011.
In short, Bush had 8 years and two wars to 'get Bin Laden' and he failed miserably.

Ha. You're just proving Palin's point, man!
Obama only caught Bin Laden because Bush decided not to catch him.
It only happened now because it didn't happen then.
SO it's all thanks to Bush.
QED.

Easy on that use of the royal "we" there, Mr. former Decider. Now go back in your corner and keep quiet--you've been doing a fairly good job of that overall for awhile now. I'd give you a Yale Gentleman's B on that--one of the bestest grades in your academic career. Perhaps Laura will permit you to Decide on some matter of importance in your home, such as which brand of toilet paper will be used. Or what color bath towels will be hung in your bathroom.
