Homeland Security says commemorations of Tulsa race massacre could be target for White supremacists, but there is no specific threat

Typical AA
This is Virginia Beach, not Tulsa.

For chrissake I wrote that right at the start of the comment!!! What is your problem, you can only see one line at at time?
BOTH ARE THIS: THE CHANGING FACE OF GUN POLITICS IN AMERICA
People talking defund or abolish police for a whole year with associated rioting and looting for a whole year (just like 100 years ago?) people are going to get libertarian about protecting their own, get guns.
Putin/Trump dreams fulfilled! No Rodney King people can we all get along? NOPE, divided into little skin color and ethnic groupings, no big tent Democratic party, no Joe Biden healing. Libertarianism, protect your own, fuck those others.
(and kill your own if you're fucking into making even smaller tribes)

My problem
The legal action taken by the survivors of the Tulsa massacre is the tension
The tension of no reparations is why John Legend and Stacey Abrams pulled out.
I feel sorry for you.

My problem:
85% of those shootings have black victims, 83% of the deaths are black
Yet rmrd regularly ignores these deaths, focuses only on police blame. NCD shoes up talking bout the NRA - but the white gun nuts sell most of their weapons hyping up what "the blacks" are doing crime-wise. This year, do you blame them? (rhetorical, of course you blame them)
Though oddly if I search for "gun shooting race" i get listings/stories of police killing blacks, which is quite the minority and mostly justified. But happy hip-hop party today...
[and yes, I'm sad for the victims, especially to black communities who definitely don't need this shit, but that's what they've got.]
And after a year of focusing mostly on one white cop who killed one street bum on camera, we're going to pivot to an atrocity against blacks 100 years ago and still ignore what black thugs it drugged-up idiots with guns are doing to black innocents in even greater numbers this year.
Are we learning yet?

It is an American problem
There is no easy solution
AA gains enjoyment by reporting the shootings
Your message is "duck"
by rmrd0000 on Tue, 06/01/2021 - 4:47pm
You're such an ass. AA is pointing out a huge problem while you argue George Floyd and other details ad nauseum. I sure as fuck don't suggest little kids "duck" - they're getting killed. Stop focusing so much on white people and go try to get your homies to stop shooting each other up if you give a shit and are actually black and not some troll sent to stir us up with puerile nonsensical shit forever and ever.
(Of course real black people do recognize the problem and are doing what they can and totally in despair over this awful chain if events - that comes out in AA's postings - "they be niggaz killing niggaz up here" as they used to report to my police dispatch friend, except it's gotten so much worse - everyone's carrying now, it's not just criminals & gang shit - people just have guns for the hell of it or now for "self defense", so they're 1 drink/pill away from popping off on somebody - it's madness.)

There you go
Your true self
No one in my family is shooting each other.
My "homies" are not shooting each other.
We are attending graduations.
I post about improving community services to change conditions in at risk neighborhoods
AA was salivating over the possible of carnage at the Tulsa commemoration
She had to put up a separate post about the "tension" and display a picture of the New Black Panthers
Why did people applaud the Panthers and not the police and government?

Yeah yeah, the Reaper of Dead History and Victimhood is "attending graduations", the promising future. And then launches into the next cycle of victimhood and grievance.
by PeraclesPlease on Tue, 06/01/2021 - 7:53pm
Not victimhood, just addressing head on topics that white people like you want to avoid.
You are a stereotypical joke.
Fortunately, you and AA do not represent all white people.
Having dinner with a group of white folks Friday.
They are nothing like you and AA, thank goodness.
I will continue to voice my grievances, just as you will voice yours.
Edit to add:
Tulsa represented the theft of generational wealth along with the loss of life.
Edit to add:
It is commonplace for Black families tending college, business school, law school, and nursing school graduations to voice grievances about the treatment of Black bodies.
Those families want to see the John Lewis and George Floyd bills passed. They also want infrastructure bills passed.
by rmrd0000 on Tue, 06/01/2021 - 9:04pm
They make it clear
AA " your tribe"
PP "your homies"
by rmrd0000 on Tue, 06/01/2021 - 11:07pm
"AA was salivating over the possible of carnage at the Tulsa commemoration" ......
Bingo.
Peracles, in case you haven't noticed, The Party of Trump is the biggest, most historic sufferer of victim hood in world history, and they are painstakingly working installing 'stop the steal' grievance filled conspiracy theorists in state positions of election authority to make sure they never lose another election.
Maybe you could post about that ongoing assault on this nation and democracy.
Instead of producing a surfeit of inane reactionary attacks on RM, and 'history'.
by NCD on Tue, 06/01/2021 - 9:55pm
It's all over this blog. But if you just hang onto rmrd's suspenders, you might miss it.

the article is mainly about how some people feel this is all just promotion of "cultural tourism"
Noticing how much media there has been on it, I would agree that's mainly what is being done. They are getting a ton of bang for their bucks.
