After just now seeing this piece @ Axios on Congressional Dem reaction,concluding with: Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.): "Every member of Congress, Republican and Democrat, needs to speak up in defense of the Special Counsel. Now." I got an inkling that this attorney statement may have been timed partly for the Sunday morning political talk shows. If that's the case, another article I just read comes to mind, about Trump's favorite, Fox News, @ The Hill, Shepard Smith announces 'previously planned' vacation amid Hannity, Ingraham spat where it was reported that Sunday host Chris Wallace was yucking it up with Smith over the non-professional "entertainment" crew of Fox pundits and basically continuing to dis them. Then I saw, also @ The Hill this afternoon. that Hannity was making a big deal of inviting Comey to come on the show.

Suffice it to say: there may be some fireworks on Chris Wallace's Fox Sunday show tomorrow? At the very least some faux fireworks. Suspect Wallace might decide to play big shot serious journalist, especially as he has the experience/background for CBS and NBC on the White House beat.

If you’ve ever had a narcissistic boss, you know that they hate to hear any criticism and love to whack the naysayers and replace them with more compliant types. The circle of sycophants, who do not care about the boss, often spurs the leader’s flameout.

President Trump is doing it his way now. But soon, he’ll be doing it Mueller’s way.

Donald Trump went on the offensive against fired FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe on Sunday, responding to reports McCabe kept memos of his conversations with Trump – and has turned them over to special counsel Robert Mueller – by claiming McCabe never took notes in meetings with the president.

“Spent very little time with Andrew McCabe,” Trump tweeted, “but he never took notes when he was with me. I don’t believe he made memos except to help his own agenda, probably at a later date. Same with lying James Comey. Can we call them Fake Memos?”[.....]

Graham: Trump firing Mueller would be 'the beginning of the end of his presidency'

Sen. Lindsey Graham gave a stern warning Sunday to President Donald Trump against firing special counsel Robert Mueller.

"As I said before, if he tried to do that, that would be the beginning of the end of his presidency," the South Carolina Republican said on CNN's "State of the Union."

"The only reason that Mr. Mueller could be dismissed is for cause. I see no cause when it comes to Mr. Mueller," Graham said, later adding he believed the Mueller was "doing a good job."[....]
